Explain the nature and importance of human values in the workplace In the workplace, a person will have to make many decisions some big, and some not so big our values help us with making those decisions.Being committed in the workplace and being part of the team are important human values that are important in the workplace.Someone will be there in bad times or in good times.
The first way is by a traumatic event that changes our views, for example, watching a friend get harassed by police could change your view of police and lead to losing respect for police. They act as filters for the way we view reality good or bad, right and wrong, and normal or not normal (Whisenand & Mc Cain, 2014).
Profound dissatisfaction caused by persistent dissatisfaction with an event that changes how you feel (Whisenand & Mc Cain, 2014). Values help us make decisions in life and work by helping us weigh out the options, and even values could lead you to a choice without noticing.
Getting a good education is my most important value.
My grandfather said that education can take me anywhere. Respect for the Hmong culture is my next most important value. I know that someone is and always will be there for me.

Identify core values For a person like me to be considered ethical, you would have to have a few core values that you would use in everyday life including Values can change by either a significant emotional event or a profound dissatisfaction. Now education has given me a chance to get some of these things back. One day it will help me get my people back together.
