Sometimes, the literary review is a part of a larger research paper.Its purpose is to prevent duplication of efforts, resolve conflicts, and point the way for further research.Set a specific time frame for how long you will search.
Don’t summarize, as summarizing takes longer than simply typing the excerpt. When you finish, place each stack of notes into an envelope labeled with the name of the theme.
Make sure to note the name of the author and the page number following each excerpt. Step Five: Create Your Conceptual Schema: Type, in large font, the name of each of your coded themes.

I have integrated some other tips within this guide, particularly in suggesting different technology tools that you might want to consider in helping you organize your review.
